ANOTHER PAID WRITING OPPORTUNITY FOR BLOGGERS

Here's another Home based money making opportunity for today.

As I've previously written, bloggers make lots of money by getting paid to write reviews of other sites in their blogs. As the PageRank and number of daily blog visitors increase, the price that people are willing to pay just be be written about in your blog increases. There are blogs that earn beyond $250 dollars for a short review of other people's blogs/sites.

Some people call it selling one's soul because some advertisers require a positive review of their sites. However, my solution is for the blogger to carefully study the site and accept the job only if they feel that the advertiser deserves a positive review. Otherwise, don't. There are also advertisers and blogs that forbids the "positive reviews only" requirement. In that case, the bloggers may write whatever they want and still get paid.

Aside from the sites that I've recommended in my previous posts, I have stumbled upon this site that offers to pay bloggers for reviewing their advertisers.

At this point, I still cannot recommend if they actually pay. All the other sites that I've listed previously have never failed to pay me for review assignments that I have done for them in my other blogs.

On their own, bloggers may also advertise their services in their blogs. take for example, www.johnchow.com that makes thousands of dollars per month, writing reviews of other sites in his blog. I've read some of his reviews and my God, it was not positive at all. yet, he got paid handsomely for it. By the way, he has a nice work station at home but he also blogs from his bed. Hahaha! Making money from his bed!

I am posting this in response to a visitor who left a comment regarding low adsense income. I know that the blog receives a lot of visitors so I looked at her blog and tried to analyze it. In the process, I realized that several updates made my site Adsense inefficient and therefore needs a revamp, as soon as possible.

As we all know, Adsense puts ads into our site as soon as we've inserted a code that they create specifically for us. As soon as people click on our ads, Adsense pays us money. Our income potential is limited only to the number of clicks that our site visitors make. There are lots of bloggers that make thousands of dollars from adsense. Pinoymoneytalk for instance, makes apprioximately $2,000/month from it, shoemoney makes a lot more, the richtwinpoortwin used to make about $200,ooo from it, etc, etc..

Here's a couple of effective Adsense tricks:

1. Put as many as possible in a page: You are allowed 3 adsense ads/page. the more possible clickable ads, the better chances you have..
2. Choose the most visible layout: The optimal size for ads on top or bottom of the posts is the 250 x 250 and the bigger size next to it.
   
3. Tighten your blog: Limit the number of posts per page. If you write long articles. Make sure to have only one or two posts in a page. The trick is in having an adsense ad as close to the blog post as possible. The secret is in having the ads very visible and close to your post so the readers will read it. If they can read it, there's a good chance that they will find an ad worth clicking.

In my last several months of blogging and Internet surfing experience, I have read quite a lot about Google Page Ranks from a number of "Experts". Some try to be highfalutin about it and there are those who showcases their technical expertise by using too many jargons. the end result is a confused reader.

PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. Votes cast by pages that are themselves "important" weigh more heavily and help to make other pages "important." Using these and other factors, Google provides its views on pages' relative importance.

So, Google combines PageRank with sophisticated text-matching techniques to find pages that are both important and relevant to your search. LATEST WORK AT HOME/HOME BASED OPPORTUNITY: BLOGGING ADS

That is how I started making money from blogging. My first few dollars made was when I wrote a review of somebody else's blog. That blog of mine (not this one) has since earned me a lot of money.

BLOGGERWAVE: Won't recommend this.. at least, NOT YET!

Before I enlisted with Bloggerwave, I've read a number of bloggers complaining about the site's delinquency. After that, Bloggerwave posted an announcement apologizing for the delays in payments which they blame in some back room errors and start up/ growing pains.

I even posted a copy of that statement in this site.

About a month after, I enlisted with the program and did one paid post (July 2007). Until now, I am YET TO GET PAID.

At this point, they have reformatted the site's layout and I am unable to login to my account. Whenever I click on the "FORGET PASSWORD?" link, the site simply loads back the login page.

There may still be some growing pains being experienced by the company but they have to do something about it ---really fast! The very least that they can do is to reply to our complaints. At this point, my impression is that the site is in such a big mess.

At this point, I would say that Bloggerwave is an example of a business model that entrepreneurs should not emulate.

Until, they have responded to my complaint (sent through the site) or acted on my unpaid post, this article will remain here.

Trying out Blogitive and I am NOT very Happy!

Apologies for the long absence. I have been busy trying out new ways to make legitimate home based income. So far, I have been successful. My income from blogging is already equivalent to a decent professionals salary and it continues to grow as I get more efficient in managing my time.

At this point, I am trying Blogitive and was able to get my blogs approved. By the way, I am yet to really monetize this site. Blogitive is a program that pays bloggers US$5.00 to write a 100 words editorial review of an advertiser's press release. In addition, a link to the advertiser's website is embedded in the article through a keyword.

One setback with this program (which I have not encountered with the good sites) is their slow response rate to technical problems.

I posted a review that refused to be accepted by the site due to an alleged absence of a required link. I triple checked my article and crossed checked it with other blogs that did the same campaign and found my post satisfactory. I wrote the site administrators to report the problem and an automatic reply system promised immediate resolution to my problem. At this point, my opportunity for that post expired and I am yet to hear from the site. The campaign has now "Expired" and there's a red mark on my account. If there was something wrong with my post, they should be good enough like Payperpost to tell you what the problem with your post was.

Prior to that, it took Blogitive several days to review and approve my site. I found that forgivable considering that they have just reformatted their site. What I find a little odd is that until now, they are offering incentives to bloggers can refer other blogs to enlist with them but it took several days before I found a posting opportunity in my account.
